To join main movie titles from 2 DVDs using DVDShrink (www.dvdshrink.org). Note that all menu and extras are stripped. 1. Rip the 2 DVDs to *.iso format using whatever software you prefer including DVDShrink, DVDDecrypter, or ImgBurn. 2. Open DVDShrink. 3. File/Open Disc Image and select dvd1.iso. 4. Select Re-author and drag the title(s) under Main Movie section from the right window to the left window. Note: you can also preview the title in the preview window. 5. Repeat Step 3 and 4 for the 2nd iso file. 6. Now you have all the titles you want for the new dvd listed in the left window. Go to each title and change the Compression Settings to No Compression. 7. Click on Backup! and click Yes to continue when the Target Size Exceeded warning pops up. Under Target Device, make sure the backup target is “Hard Disk Folder” and note the backup folder (or change it if you desire). Also check the box for “Create VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders. Then click OK to start the backup process. 8. Now you have a DVD-9 folder containing DVD Video files. 9. You can burn it straight to DVD using ImgBurn (imgburn.com). In the forum there is a guide on how to burn DVD Video files directly to double layer media. 10. Optional: You might even want to re-author the DVD-9 folder if you have an authoring program to add menu and such. Good luck! |
